bliss

today, the breeze is a cart
to heavens,
raindrops are flowers of welcome,
and sky is the ink of wonder
spread everywhere I look.

today, memories are sand dunes
in deserts of life,
emotions - a vapor
of different colors
from One rainbow.

today, the heart is full
of gratitude
towards thorns
in the garden of life.
the greatest pain
was an ocean of illusion
at whose base,
I found eternal bliss!

Such a lovely poem this is - and the contradiction in the last few lines were just magical. A wonderful serenity and peace about this poem ... I could very much relate to the "greatest pain" that was an "eternal bliss" too. We smell the rose and endure the thorns, because they are part of the lingering scent of the rose... Thank you for this one.

Getting through pain by witnessing a garden of life and in full bloom, I think the image was just lovely.

it didn't click for me. i am not sure if it was the form, the rythm or the content, but it just didn't hit my spot. i guess i am just picky at times. sorry, im sure this poem deserves alot more praise then i give it.

Thanks for sharing and God Bless

Beautiful and serene. I like the feeling this one gives me as I read it - very nice on a winter's morning.
