If there ever was just one day
when things would just go smooth
My poor little mind could just relax
Take a break and feel the soothe (ahhhhhhhh!)
If the alarm would just stop ringing
so I wouldn't jump ten feet in the air
No stumbling, falling, blinded by light
No stubbing toes on a big ol' chair! (owie!)
I try to splash toner on to wake up
Hair astray, standing all over the place
the smell, so harsh, nail polish remover!?
that I'm actually smearing all over my face (oy!)
It's time for my shower, water streaming
Grabbing all my shampoo and a toothbrush
Into it I go, soaping and scrubbing
OH NO! Did I just hear the sound of a flush!? (freezing!)
Bloated and tired, I wish for a day
when my jeans didn't fit so tight
so I wouldn't have to lay on the bed
and tug and pull with all my might (haha!)
Pouring a bowl of cereal and tummy growling
with a large glass of bright orange juice
I crunch down, broken tooth, is this cat food!?
Oh c'mon world, let's just make a truce! (seriously, please!?)

This was fun to write! So much fun imagining someone's bad day turned into a humourous joke because let's face it, you gotta have humour in your life, even when things are bad! And this proves it hehe =^_^= enjoy and hope it brings a good belly laugh!
By the way, the nail polish remover is a true story! ROFL!
