With Our Music On

Touch and talk with our music on;
a bright-eyed melody in soft-haired harmony;
as the candle burns so will we.
All night long our souls sing our sweet song;
we make love with our music on.

    Touch and talk with our music on;
    beside each other; inside each other;
    Melody holds harmony;
    As the music plays, so will we.

Sing and dance with our music on;
young lovers driven dance in rhythm;
reveal and revel in love that each has given.
All night long our sweet love sings a soulful song;
we make love with our music on.

    Sing and dance with our music on;
    beside each other; inside each other;
    Melody holds harmony;
    As the music plays, so will we.

Live and love with our music on;
the music of the moon sings to the sun;
two souls born apart exist now as one.
Our soul sings one sweet song,
while we make love with our music on.

Thank the One while we make love,
with our music on.

    Lovely read, fantastic imagery, the piece has a wonderful "love song" feel to it...soft, romantic, yet slightly erotic..wonderful word play..I'm sure many of us wish our "love lives" were quite similar to this

    Excellent Writing

    A terrific very erotic poem. Great feel, great sound.

    Which one is the sun and which the moon? The moon has the reflected glow of the sun. TAKE TURNS!

    This contains the lyrical content of a song by its repetitive lines. The words flow well and the image is soft-senuality. Personally I would have liked to seen more overlaying of musical terms with them as metaphors or similes possibly even as homonyms -- as it stands its written to appeal to the masses and not the few. Nicely written.

    Sighhh...what an elegant penning this is, Poet...Soft, serene & passionate, just as it should be...There is a subtle sensuality in each line that is inherently appealing to those with romantic tendencies...& yeahhh, I'm just as guilty of it, too... Beautifully written, Mat...Thank you for sharing such Love & loveliness with us all...Be well, Poet... Wanda

    Is there anything better than making love with a song to capture the moment playing in the background, it enhances the senses and transports you to wherever you want to go in the arms of the one you love. This just sings to me as I read Love, C

    A very well formed piece, with great detail to rhythem & rhyme. Poignant, and well spoken. A lovely description of love; with a fresh take on the imagery and expression.

    Good

    I do like the repition of lines, to emphasize them. Though there are some very poetic lines throughout this. Very well done.
