When the elves escaped

Missing image

Here with my hands over my heart

A tear in my eye, it saddens me

I loved you from the very start

Now this ship fords us out to sea

The great elf war our home destroyed

Creaking boards and the salt air spray

Hordes of humans and elves deployed

Sailing all us elves away

The dark elves and hydras, left behind

To fend for themselves and fight the war

Yet here on the ship we stay confined

Sailing the seas and lands to explore

So I looked at you, a knowing grin

As I pulled out the silver bowl

Magic will find our next of kin

I look and know what they had stole

Soon a new land we will find

To hide the elves of every kind

I thank the spirit elf above

That you are safe with me my love
