There’s a place upon the mountain
where the forest meets the sky
Where the nightingales sing merrily
and robins learn to fly
It’s a place of peace and harmony
where I often go to dream
A place that brings me happiness
while lulling by the stream
A gorgeous lunar cinema
set among the nighttime stars
The silver eyes of heaven
piercing through my human scars
The tranquility and calmness
that I find upon my face
Can never be a measure
there must be spirits in this place
This mountain holds such mystery
placed within my view
As I watch a native light show
in a forest cloaked in blue
If I could have just one wish
I know what it would be
To stay there in that forest
and live amongst the trees
The patter of rains
would sing me lullabies of charm
Cradled in the highest limbs
keeping me from harm
There’s a place upon the mountain
where the forest meets the sky
Where the nightingales sign merrily
and robins learn to fly

You have a real talent for making the poem flow; it's easy to hear the pattern and it's nice on the ears. None of your rhymes sound forced either. Good vocabulary and pretty imagery.

Beautiful
I like this poem very much. There is a good use of figurative language and it doesn't get caught up too much in rhyme scheme. It feels very natural. My favourite bit is "The patter of rains would sing me lullabies of charm Cradled in the highest limbs keeping me from harm" -
Realisation.
This is where I think of when am going through those rough times (: -

this a very lovely poem, I grew up in a forest in Arizona, our house was in the forest among the trees, this bring back some many memories, of having fun in the forest, climbing the trees, and the brook that run thru it, and the cave in the mountain side that we play in. The wild onions we pic and eat, in the forest floor.
Now look at me sitting thinking about that forest, this is wonderful poem,
good luck in the contest, you deserve to win with this one,
John

Very tranquil and an excellent flow, one question - did you mean the nightingales sing rather than sign? Besides that, this is so peaceful and gentle, I love it.
