The Wait

You are
my distant dream,

my knight
in a not-so shining armor...

I swear that
-in the chaos of calm-
I hear your voice
vibrating in verve,
bearing a promise of peace,
telling me to wait...

[and no,
I am not delusional]

So here I am,
on the edge,
-right where you want me to be-
always anticipating,

like a woman
on the verge of an orgasm.

In the wait,
my pupils dilate,
my heartthrobs accelerate,

and you,
-my love-
you're always late.

You are ruthless,
starving my soul
for solace that never comes.

Eyes yearn for sleep,
Years yearn for closure,
and I only yearn for you.

Deprived,
underprivileged,
I curse my pitiful state,

yet,
I still believe in providence,
I still believe in fairietales,
I still believe in you.

And for the gullible girl I am,
I blame you

and I hate you,
I hate you with a passion-

a passion
too intense,
too intoxicating,
it stifles my solitary soul.

But suffocation
fails to steal
my determination to find your face.

So,
alone,
alone,
all alone,
I lay here and wait.

This is just you Hana...so wonderful ...and he will find you...as you write toward light and know that every thing means something...I am always glad to see you passion flare...and touch me in that place we new last summer...so I love this poem...and I know you will be such a stong woman filled with every dream we danced across our lines together...and soon our book will be out, as I have sent everything in...and I will let you know...as soon as they let me know...
and I do miss the writing...
