light floods the room
leaving a golden hue
gently waking me
from my peaceful rest
stirring in
sating ribbons of onyx,
I strech and smile
for a new day is born
rolling over
upon your face I glance
feeling the heavns
rejoyce in our love
reflecting back
upon last eve
in your arms
nothing could touch us
gazing into your eyes,
forgetting the world,
flowing with waterfalls,
into the serenity of your soul.
It is you that I have loved
from distances afar.
my soul aching for yours,
my arms needing you for always.
laying at your side, thinking
all these thoughts,
I carfully trace your face
feeling you through out me.
closing my eyes,
I drink you to my soul.
not letting a drop pass from
my fingers.
slowly kissing your lips,
tasting the candy sweetness
hungering for more
as you begin to wake
taking me close to
you once more,
enveloping me in darken exstascy,
never wanting to be set free
how I long to have you
at my side and in my arms
from now till forever
till time is no more

Very touching, "laying at your side, thinking
all these thoughts,
I carfully trace your face
feeling you through out me." this is what love is about all the little moments like this. -
Images Flowing Within My Head
Hi fellow good poet.
As I read each and every word of each stanza, I stopped and memorised the use of imageries you have used, and I found it as a stunning write. I could image the person in seduction, towards the opposite sex, lingering each movement and pace of passionate love.
I specially like these two stanzas…
“Taking me close to
you once more,
enveloping me in darken exstascy,
never wanting to be set free
How I long to have you
at my side and in my arms
from now till forever
till time is no more”
Thank you for sharing this poetry,

PS = I can't applaud, as I don't have enough points, but these roses will be as a replacement.
Take care!

Such a beautiful write.
"how I long to have you
at my side and in my arms
from now till forever
till time is no more"
I loved the power that this last stanza creates, it really drew me in to the passion that lies within your words.
Very well done!
