How do I start my father
How do I start to speak to One who is so Great
One who laid down His life down on Calvary
My maker and creator
Father you look at me with love
You embrace me in Your every lasting Arms
My sins are as washed away
In Your awesome Presence O, Lord
Looking back you have been with me
With me through every joy and every pain
Father you love me so much
But what are you to gain?
Many times I have done wrong
Many times I’ve walked away
Many times I’ve disowned you
But You still love me
Thank you for who you are
Thank you for you are Father, Friend
My God and my Lord
You are with me and will be with me
Through each and every bend

This is such a heartfelt prayer. It is so wonderful to know that God never stops loving us and He is always ready to forgive. Very beautiful. I like the length of the poem, the line length and the verse length. Blessings, Lora
