Vanilla’s so Fine

Coke, cakes and ice-cream
Even Apple Pies…
A Taste of Heaven
Light delicate flavour
Exuding gentle warmth
With refined Southern Comfort
Bring the cashews and apples
Juices right to the boil
Reduce and then simmer
Even Vegans adore it!
I just heat milk and bring to boil
Then beat eggs and sugar
Mixing in Vanilla, then stirring
Vanilla Custard is my pleasure!
What is the mixture,
That brings you pleasure?
On its own or blended
It’s affectionately pleasing!
Author notes
I used the term ‘taste’ quite broadly, since taste can be broadly received in both taste (on the tongue), emotion and the joy it brings. Therefore I kept to describing Vanilla's taste but also took it a bit further.
