Saying Goodbye

The hardest thing for me,
Is to say goodbye
To the woman
That I love.

I know
That tomorrow,
I will have you
Once again.

Yet until that time,
I know not what to do
Other than miss,
And think of you,

I am lucky,
To be the one
To call you mine
And have your heart.

I know that I don’t deserve,
One such as you.
Yet my heart already
Belongs to you.

So I will sit here,
Longing to
Hold you
Once again.

    It's hell when the one you love is gone for a while but sweeter is the day when they return! This was a beautifully written poem. Great job.
