From My heart
By Charles-Marks
These words from my heart
can hardly express my bond to you.
You fill a hole in life.
I am lucky that you are my wife.
A bridge across life’s valleys
and a helping hand up the peaks.
You are the companionship
that my soul ever seeks.
Your golden hair is my sun
and your blue eyes the sea.
The longer I’m with you
the more you mean to me.
My heart is yours
and my future is you.
These thoughts are forever
I love you.

A beautiful poem to your wife. I loved the simplicity and imagery in this peice. The words were spoken from your heart. Thank you for sharing...Sue

wonderfully sweet tribute to a very lucky woman!!! I do have a hard time following a rhyming pattern, if you were striving for one. If it was unintentional, perhaps swaying farther from it, or embracing it completley would suit this better. The tempo and flow, aside from that, is wonderful and this is an easy read.

Awwwww. It was absolutely adorable, beautiful and compassionate at every level of thinking. Speaking words from your heart is always grand, so lovely. I can't get the lump from my chest to go away, so I can tell you that you've got a way with words. Even I'm happy for you and your wife and I don't /really/ know you. ^^ Odd, but true. This was so pleasing to my mind. Great write.
