Feasting upon empty promises,
Flase hopes and white lies,
Yet white is the darkest shade,
In this punishing game,
A game of hearts,
Black as the midnight sky,
And as cold as the deepest cave,
Ready to surround me in its cruel vision,
Of a love most pure and whole,
I now truely know what it feels like,
To be drowning in my own world,
Trying to pretend that
Everything
Is
Okay
Author notes
This is something I'm going through now, but to be different and to give me a challenge I tried to write it as if I was the other person.
