~ Yesterdays

Just another lightning from the yesterdays..
As I find myself still climbing the mountain for the farthest peak
Life goes on, and that’s what sometimes kills me the most
Tumbling and falling for the answers I still seek..

The memories of long ago, the hurts that somehow stand anew
But there is light from the other side, of reliving the lost smile
And I’m still living,  but not for the dreams that rob away my sleep
All those events queued up to haunt me, pile after pile..

The tears are still new, behind these brown eyes
.. Though they no more over my eyes and heart prevail
I travel this brand new road, with a brand new sun on chase
... And yet again the life goes on.. And I follow its trail..

yet the pain of yesterdays, is loved, as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul, for the morrow holds both reverie and affirmation.

You summed up well… and yet again life goes on…
there’s no point running backwards chasing the past… we got to move on with the flow… treat each day as it comes and make best out of it… beautiful worded poem as always…
take care and hey, happy birthday to you for tomorrow… hope it’s a lovely one while you’re travelling on a motorway at the top gear…

The beginning sounds too dark.. like being woven by tears beams. I like the beautiful likening of tomorrows to a mountain. We are all the traveler in the journey of this world. The experiences of yesterdays are provisions of tomorrows.
The end of your poem was more like blooming a blossom! “... And yet again the life goes on.. And I follow its trail.” Yeah this is the rule of the world.
