inspiration burns
makes me too weak to hold
this pen which frees me
i become
a shaking shell of ashes

    interesting

A little punctuation would help, but I like it. It's almost haikuish (Did I just coin a word? Hmmm.)

It's almost got an "O'Henry" air to it as well. Good job.

A brief but well written glimpse into one f your sleepless nights, brought on by the need to write... hey, that's as good a reason as any and it sure paid off.

"this pen which frees me' I especially like that phrase. Writing certainly can release us of some of the things which torture us at times.

A good write, one which I enjoyed reading

Tightly written, and with a depth no thousand other words could match. Burned to ash by need to express inspirations. Yep. I'll stop by again. You write well.

I love the structure, and it makes me really wish I felt the need to write again. It stings of nostalgia and activity and release. I logged on on a whim and found something worth logging on for.
