I'm tired of putting on this happy face
I'm tired of trying to be replaced
You say you need me, but you don't care
All you care about is your flame of the year.
Well what about me?
What about the one thats ALWAYS BEEN there to put you back together?
What about the one thats cried a million tears with you?
The one who always loved you?
You want to throw you life away, over stupid idiots that aren't worth your time,
When you can do so much better, then those that make you cry.
You choose them over me in a heartbeat.
But guess what? I can't do it
I can't catch you every-time you fall anymore.
I hurt, and I just can't go on alone anymore.
I'm the girl with the broken smile, and the even more broken heart.
My life is in shambles and I try and piece them back together, but every-time I get close someone else kicks the last piece away.
Someone else wants me to stay when I beg to leave.
I need to be set free, so that I can find where I need to be, so that I can find the one that will always love me.

I am truly sorry things did not work out between you and I, but dont worry, I wont be bothering you ever again about my personal life. I am still your friend, and I'm still around if you ever just wanna talk. -
as far as the emotion, i could totally feel it. actually, it felt like it was more forced upon me, which is good. but the poem itself felt more like a flat out story explanation than poetry. the first four lines were good and the end was good but the middle just seemed too literal i guess. idk. nice write though...
