Certain people shake your soul upon first impact
Off-beat personality, unique sense of humor
An aura so different, yet instantly attractive
Such a person has penetrated my heart
And left a longing no mere lust will quench
All of us desire to experience heaven on earth
To find a diamond as we dig through life’s dirt
To feel fulfilled as the sun fades into the night
I won’t say I have found my diamond
But this girl occupies my every thought
She’s become my religion,
My culture, my tradition
The notes to my song
The words to my verse
The water for my thirst
I must be cautious though
For my admiration borders on the obsessive
Her quirks are my daily high
Her voice takes away my sighs
And I fear the ultimate addiction
Yet she doesn’t know of my feelings
Afraid as I am to lose this slice of heaven
I keep my desires and emotions inside
In a heavenly corner I hide…

This is a poem about a recent encounter of sorts I had with a woman who just happens to be amazing and raises my bloodlevel to record highs. Just too scared to make a move. I chose option #7
