life goes on
as time passes
second by second
the time ticking away
minute by minute
passing by so quick
day by day
never knowing
year by year
taking so long

life goes on
as tears fall
the cold drink falling down my face
dreams fade
friends change
you hide from the world
seems like your sleeping
to never wake up
you cry
hoping for the last tear

life goes on
with every breath
every thought going through your head
every step
when you feel like your falling

    Excellent poem. It was very sad though. I really hope that, if this was a personal account, you will be able to feel like you have some purpose in your life, and that there is so much you can do with your life. Things go up and down in life, but there is always the "up" to look forward to.
