Forget Me

With your smile in my head i die in your arms
You scream for me to stay but i really can't
But i continue to watch over you like in life
Making sure you live without me all right

As i'm buried you cry and as you cry i sigh
How when your like this can i peacefully lie
Throw away the pictures and forget the memories
There is no need for them as long as you loved me

If someone had foreseen what would happen to me
You would not have allowed them to breathe
But what's done is done and you have to let go
No one would say but they all did know
I'll cherish your kiss your touch and your face
When i'm sleeping in my final resting place
It is no ones fault what happened to me
As long as you forget the want and let me sleep

As time passes you really have to move on
You must enjoy your life and youth before it's gone
Allow the next to love you like i wanted to
Like me she wants to be wrapped in the love of you

As i'm forgotten i am still unable to fade
For still our old movies are cried at when played
You were so lucky to escape with your life
So now take the chance and make up the right

But like some sickness i left and you were better

    Amazing....from the perfect title, to the end line. Loved the flow, rhythm. Definatly a song, an awesome one with supurb lyrics.

    alright, so I think your waiting for death to over come you. Am I right? Like..hmm..Let me explain to you what I got out of it. You died, and saved 'him/her'. Now your just waiting for that moment for you to be truely gone..up in heaven. (if thats what you believe)

    this is absolutely amazing!!! i am at a complete lack of words to describe it. honestly, this is one of the most beautiful things i have ever read. i can't think of anything else to say...it's just beautiful. ur an amazing author, keep it up!

    This is deep. I like the tone of it. Giving permission to a loved one to go on in life without you. And wishing them well. That takes honor and integrity.

    Deep, disturbing... I really liked your poem; It seemed more to me like a song, a sort of Evanescence-style lyric. Very nicely done!
