The True Facts of Life {society}

You live until you die, you laugh until you cry,
You do until you don’t, you will until you won’t,
You’ll know where you've gone, but you’ll never know where you’re from,
You always have done, but you’re never actually done,
You’re only unlucky to loose, what you were lucky to have won,
Never forget how to laugh, because then you won’t remember humour,
Don’t worry about being lonely, when most friends are just a rumour,
You only really see this day, when you look back the next day,
So don’t waste tomorrow, wishing you could have changed today,
Look back in regret at something's done and what sometimes you've been,
Rather than what you could, should, would and might have been,
Realize life’s just a ride that people can’t see, so they don’t believe,
Learn not to trust your eyes, for what you see can often deceive.

You came out screaming and naked, this is all they want you to know
You were thrown to a world of come as you are, but pay as you go,
From the start we are cared for by orders, it's explained what we have to do,
We are guided for sure survival, or at least that’s what they tell you,
But from the time they had taught us to walk, we were told to pack it in,
From the day we were able to talk, we've been told we should just listen,
So go with what you know, not with what you are told from pre school,
Understand there is no truth only human opinion this is the only rule,

It’s only through the imagination of themselves, people are what we see,
Cloned Individuals, through their consumption of magazines and T.V.

Slowly they drip us with fear and we don’t admit it but we run and hide,
Life's a little less than a feel good high, It’s just a little less than a suicide,

You see I admit. I've spent time not knowing what is, or not illusion,

I was riddled with myself and riddled with all of this confusion,
But as my years past, I learnt to think different than the normal guy,
I looked back through my time and how this lie had made me cry,
So I asked who says that experience, was and is always right,
So I asked is it wisdoms clear vision, or just a fools ageing sight,
Why is it that those that say you have won, have never really lost,
And those that set the price, have never yet paid the cost,
They tell us society is a shining star, obey our rules you know it’s right,
But I thought a shining star, is nothing more than a fading old light,

I understand that those that don't try, usually end up with it all,

And that those that don't climb, never seem to fall,

But  like a man doing a man, society really confuses me,

Who’s keeper. Who’s captive and Who’ s really free?

Very diffrent, very diffrent. The reason this is diffrent is because there is a few that truly discover this. Everything in life is opinion, everything your taught, even what you believe. Until you let go and discover what is really going on. Some people are so obbessed with beliefs and opinions they kill over it. It tears us apart but everyone ignores it. The simple things you say are simple but many people forget about their very building blocks of life. Very creative, very impactful and very true. Message me if you want your score.

I like this poem, it has a flow that is wholly original and seems inspired. I like how, in the beginning, you had the end of the line rhymn with the middle, that must have really been hard to do. I would have liked it if you would have made the words a little smaller so that they could fit on one line and make it a little more accessible. Over all, however, a truly great poem and am looking forward to reading more of your work.

p.s. good luck in your contest, I hope you do good.

Critical thought and radical dissent against the authority created this nation (USA); conformity did not.  You expressed your frustrations well but I thought the next to last line was gratuitous.
