Stand Still

Stand still
life
no more
cast out
past aggressions
lost in
a maze

suffer
too many
illusions
nothing is real
movies
make it seem
alright

reality splits
in two
lost in
perceptions
deceivers of
one who does not exist

this phenomenom
is not rare
an everyday
occurance
no escape
from the surreal

the pendulum
swings
halted in
mid afternoon
by the
river
down in
a book

written against
time
outside of
space
a universe at
home that
leaves emptiness

Hmm...very interesting writing style. I enjoyed reading it and the brief lines kept my eyes drawn to the poem. Good job =)

    Feeling speak louder than words

You written a poem that hit home with me. I guess that is why I dont watch tv much. Better yet go to movies show. Life is where you can grab it and hold it that is real life. when you can touch and feel the love or hate of one.
    Beautiful job Sis.

Wonderful flow in this poem. It was deep, and very thoughtprovoking...I love how you ended the poem.
    Great job.
