What's the point in living

When all you do is cry

A secret kept burried

Under the pain in your eyes

Sufrocated from your pain

Drowning in your tears

Emotions locked inside yourself

You scream but no one hears

Happiness is reversed

Into something you don't understand

You hurt yourself to feel something

So weak you can barely stand

Excluded from reality

You don't know what is real

The numbness of the pain

Only makes it harder to feel

You can run

But you're running from nothing

When you're so alone

You never feel anything

Lonlieness rains

All through your soul

You were here

But you were never at all

Blinking back the tears, you smile

....Hiding again

You want to tell someone

but you're afraid to let them in

You're so afraid of hurt

and so afraid of betrayal

That you pushed everyone away;

Your emotions lay frail

Your eyes are slowly fading;

Losing their glimmer

Your face is fading grey,

Your smile is growing grimmer

Slowly you lose contact

With everyone you know

In fear that maybe oneday

Your true feelings will be shown

You hide everything that's real

Until you can't stand it anymore

You feel so alone,

You feel so unsure

Behind closed doors,

You begin to die.

Alive yet lifeless

As your life passes by.
