... It Pierced Through, Covering me with a Warm,
Comforting Embrace, Bestowing it's Wisdom and it's
Everlasting Gifts upon me...

"The Darkness must subside" it said, "If you Believe
that The Light will always cause The Darkness to Flee
from your heart, It will."

Who was I to Question such Uplifting, Life Giving words??

Why was I Worthy of Being Rescued from an Unforgiving
Abyss that swallows Barren-Hearted Men, Fallen Men that Spit
on the hand that try to lift them, and Welcome the Pain
of Rejection??

The Light Spoke, as if to Answer my Silent Questions.
It Called Out to me Softly, like a Burning Ember. It
Promised to Burn the Deathly Darkness away from my
Shadowed & Shady Heart.

Like a Flood of Fire, Granting me Peace and Serenity,
The Light engulfed my Heart and Soul, Reteaching me
how to Smile again while I write...

My Fingers danced, My Pen sang, My Eyes saw through the
Maze of Darkness, and The Poetic Drops of Rain Showered
Down on me, Cleansing me, and Blessed me with a Lifetime
of Inspiration...
