Fall into sleep,
Fall into me,
Prelude to a dream,
Free the darkest nightmare.
Sunburst and starlight,
Beneath your hooded eyes,
The restful retribution,
Sleep without desire.
Suddenly it appears,
The product of your fears,
The shadow comes again,
To swallow you and I.
It snarls and snaps,
At out heels as we flee,
Across this lurid landscape.
A dream as lucid as reality.
A flight of purest terror,
Till we escape the chasing monster.
Fear becomes the fuel,
To feed our fires of compassion.
Embrace me and I’ll hold you unto me,
Let our love encompass all,
Never mind the darkness,
Or the fiend that finds us.
The light within you blinds it
The light behind those eyes
Of a fallen angel.
The glow of the divine.
Awaken now and leave me,
In the depths of this world of fantasy,
This nightmare is not real,
No more real than I am.
