Frozen Empty Eyes

Weeping in the streets and nobody hears
tearing down with lot of pain and pride
living in the shadows where I belong
fighting my grief that breathe my breath

In my disconsolate
I breathe I live
I've nothing else to feel
sorrow you can feel in my shades

homeless wherever I go without my sadness
sufferance hugs me when my eyes are wiped
death hold my soul beyond the shades
awaking up is knowing your real truth
far from your lies

In my disconsolate
I breathe I live
I've nothing else to feel
sorrow you can feel in my shades

tears you see in my frozen eyes
hate you touch in my empty heart
lonliness you feel in my hollow soul

A heart feeling bitterness and hate is hard to live with as much as is one that is numb from pain when you are just going through the motions of breathing and putting one foot in front of the other.

I think everyone knows this kind of grief when they can't touch joy within that seemed to depend on someone else who took their leave and left a hole to mend.

I hope it has mended, if you speak from personal experience. ~ K

It is a sad poem that is laid ins tructured form with free flow. It is well written emotional piece that seems personal feelings are being laid for the reader's eyes. I like the poem though I'm sorry for what you felt at the time. Been hurt by someone is too familiar & that's why I can feel the pain that is spelled out in this poem.

Tiny little thing, it doesn't take the reader away from the depth of the poem, it's at the end, so it caught my eye - hate you touch - you meant - hate your touch. Take Care!
