Her eyes are crying and you have a shoulder
For her to rest her weary head
You'd give anything just to hold her
But she runs away instead
You take a chance and spill your guts to her
But she just doesn't feel the same
Now you're love sick with no cure
You live just to speak her name
You'd spend your whole life trying to please her
But she'd just rather be alone
You know now how much you need her
And your need for her has grown
Your love has you so confused
A confusion with no end
You can't help but feeling used
When she just wants to be your friend
You know that if you had her
You'd never let her go
And it makes you even madder
Because you'll never get to know

Reminds me of....
Of a nursurly rhyme because of how it sings fluently down the page and the words are simple....
The poem is more complex though...
I like how you've wrote it about a guy chasing a girl, but she's not interested....had that happen to me before....
Keep sheding your skin to reveal to us what is inside you...
Peace and Love...
Matt
