A nicer poem, for my ex. I hope that he and whomever he decides to be with will be happy together, and that he loves her in the same way he once loved me.

This was over a year ago, and I have long since moved on, but when I look back on poems like this one, I can still feel the tears stinging my eyes, like a thousand knives, as they did when I wrote this, when he left me. It's incredibly hard to say, "I'm happy for you", when all you can do is cry.

You must be a really strong person for writing this, and trying so hard to accept your reality. I couldnt handle it, but all you can do is smile, and wish them all the best. I hope you are doing better now, I hope you are blessed with a new love soon enough, pain like this is heart-wrenching. Great job, I am adding you to the finals.
