Cool sooth in reading. Especially now when it's a sizzling 92.Etheree is a fun form and not an easy one for messages that make sense. This one is grand because it does tell a story well.

    fabulous!

I think I have just been outdone in my quest to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for having the world's largest vocabulary! It is really a shame that my muse seems to be dead or hiding out right now, because with every new poem you give me a run for my money!

Reading this poem is like being able to watch a row of snowflakes frozen on your windows and admire their variegated structures and individual and collective beauty. I don't think I've ever read another winter poem half as lovely as this one. And I see you are catching up, too! (note to self...must bring back muse by any means necessary, even if that means electroshock therapy...)

    This is incredible!

    Many blessings,

    Raven Aurora

      My Dearest Raven

You have me rolling in laughter...(note to self...help Raven look for her muse, and avoid the electoshock therapy!) LOL! Thanks so much for the praise, dear friend. You know it means so very much to me coming from you, as I hold you in highest esteem as one of the finer poets on this site. You got me going on the Etherees, too! See what you started? LOL! We're currently buried under an enormous amount of snow....and yes, it's snowing AGAIN right now! So, you can well imagine why my muse seems to be lost in winter-wonderland right now. Hehehehehehe. Again, thanks for the kindness, my sister. So good to see you back...I Miss You! Love you, dear Raven!

This is absolutely beautiful! I love the way the words seems to slope in the essence of the beauty of this writ. I am not a fan of winter as it is too extreme for me but you my dear, paint a wondrous portrait of the trees stricken with the ice of a winter storm. I wish you the best in this round. This poem is simply beautiful!

    Always Lovingly ♥

I've missed you! Hope all is going well in your corner of the world, dear friend. Thank again for the kindness. Much love to you, dear one!

Well my sweet sister, you have done it again... I think this Colorado snow has given inspiration to your muse... I feel all the beauty in this amazing write. Firstly, glass trees.... oh yes, you can feel the cold, the penetrating chill in winterpane. "Glass trees".... oh yes, I can even hear the crackle in the ice with these words... You do this form so well .... it's beautiful and best of luck in the contest! Outstanding once again! My love to you dear one, many hugs, Annie

Like Suseann I'm glad you gave us the definitions of some of the words in your author's comments, Mary as this Afrikaans-speaking woman just learned 2 new English words today!! You grasp of the English language is just immaculate, my friend. Once again I am in awe of your talent, especially in this poetry form. Wonderful poetry...so rich in language and images, and with a delightful touch of alliteration too ...it was as if I was there looking through the panes of your winter window too. Thank you for making me see your winter in all its beautiful whiteness. Immaculate poetry and a winner in my eye, Mary-friend!! Good luck in the contest - you have what it takes to make poetry!! Much love, my friend

      Dear Nic...

It warms my snow-bound heart to know that I have given you a "taste" of a pure white winter wonder, dear friend. I felt your gaze through my window. Did you see my fuzzy slippers?? "Jack Frost" has been running amuck at my house!! LOL! Every window is painted by his hand. So very pleased you enjoyed this, Sweet Lady. Thank you so much for the kind words, and you ever-present generous heart. Much love and laughter to you, dear one. Love you very much.

Suseann...Thank you so much for the wonderful comment. I'm so glad you appreciate the definitions, as well. There are some writers who read me, where English may not be their first language. I try to be "aware" of the more obscure words I use. Nature has always inspired me, and I find I do not write about it often enough. Now that we're buried under mountains of snow, here in Colorado, I find my muse lost in "Winter-Wonderland" a lot!! LMAO! Thanks again, for the kindness, my friend. Much love and laughter to you.
