Afraid

To think of the wonders this life could show
The mountains touching the bright sky
The sunshine up in the white clouds
If I wasn't afraid to fly

To think of the thousand tears of love
Growing strong by every heart break
The beauty of the tears of lost love
If I wasn't afraid to cry

To think of the hundred lifetimes just us
Growing wise and strong together
A love we would build so strong
If I wasn't afraid to try

To think of this all with an open heart
A dream that will once come true
Through the fear, the pain inside
I will find a way to the sky

    wow... your words are beautiful... though the second line in each verse kida tripped me up on the flow... regardless its a very inspiring poem...

      This is one of my earlier works so I wasn't all that used to writing poetry; that's my only excuse... lol

    This is really beautiful i love the last line to each stanza and how you get all feeling of life along so well with an amazing flow, it makes a beautiful read.

    This is a beautiful and inspirational poem, and I loved reading it. the imagery and depth behind your words is amazing and I love how each stanza is linked together by the last line.
