I can see your face in the mist,
A shadow of your former self.
You are watching me and the world
As it all goes by you, leaving you,
Not a care in the world, not a thought.
I feel you there as you watch,
And I feel you in my soul.
Tomorrow morning you'll be gone,
No longer a face in the swirling mist.
But tomorrow morning you'll be here,
Still a part of my soul forever.

Now, see! I love when you write "sappy stuff!" Your words just flow so beautifully and fairly dance in front of me. Wonderfully written, Sis! Hugs, Patricia
