New Year's Vow

Though it's hard to say
I've found my way
No longer will I search for day
Stuck in the dark
Pierced by your sharp words
When there's nothing left to say
My heart is finally healing
All that's left now is a mark

All the pain of my past
Kept flashing in my eyes
Like some stupid pop up inside of my mind
But the timers running down
The hourglass is low
The time for feeling sorry's past
The candles barely glow
This feeling's going to last

Time to seize the moment
Too late to turn back now
Weakness from my fickle heart,shall not be allowed
This is my New Year's vow
To refuse to give up
To refuse to back down
To promise myself not to crack
To promise never to look back
