-Play Dead-

As these glitter imperfections
Shine like maladroit bruises,
On the dusty shelves of my
Sinuously curving body,
The glass lacerates my sleep
Like toxic regret:
Haunting my dreamland of neon colours.
And the stars shine chimerically
In the watercolour sky.

Each brushstroke
Carved into my canvas,
Depicts the lack of a
Hero;
The void of oxygen within this
Fairy-tale life.

The fading stitches
Relinquish eternity to silence;
As regret consumes my soul
And I suffocate.

The internal passion reflects from
Puddles of tears; not yet cried.

So pull this trigger,
And inject this venomous cancer
Deep within my skin.
Infect me with this promiscuity,
As I drown in my blackmail.
The photography is proof:
No tourniquet can save me now..

So here I lay,
In this hospital’s teenage ward:
With bruised blisters
And cascading tears.
Kissing my disgrace
As I lay,
Asphyxiated and abandoned:
In my safe haven; This dream land.
My luxurious coffin;
My casket.
