Daddys Little Girl

I will never hold you in my arms,
never will I kiss your little cheek.
I will never see you smile,
never will I hear you say "daddy".

I will not see your first step,
nor will I hear your first word,
I will not see your first day of school,
I will never see you ride a bike.

Never will you run into my arms
when I come home from work,
