In Celebration of the life of:
James "Daddy Jim" Gray, Sr.
Serenely I watched o'er all you last night
Lookin' so sad 'bout my heavenly flight
Seemed grief's darkness consumed your sunny smile
As wearily I ran my last mile.
But my spirit rejoiced and then behold
The angels took me to streets paved with gold
I can dance and leap and saunter and run
I'm feeling no pain and God's said well done.
Dear family my last wish I now must share
And don't you worry for God's always there
I wish for you an endowment of peace
And for all raging storms forthwith to cease
And when you are lonely look to the sky
For I am that cloud relaxing on high
And I am the moon who glistens your night
My family don't cry for I am all right.
