telling everyone what to do, pointing their filthy fingers,
shouting what's right or wrong, while they reek of shit!
I see, I know what you mean. They don't get it. The message,
of love, peace, and charity. They only worry about making
themselves, disguised in false purity, so their name might
appear in my Book of Life, and get them through the gates.
Yes, Father, they act as if they wave, their big money around,
before placing it, in the offering plate, that their sins are
cleansed, as they lust after the blonde, in the choir robe
Yes, my son, you're right. I would much rather see them out in
the community, helping those that need help, showing love to
strangers, and that money, well, I would rather see it feed a
needy family, than for the minister, to get a new big screen T.V.

i viewed this piece because a friend said i should take a look. she gave this a great review, and i respect her opinion. but something in this strikes me the wrong way. you used profanity, judged others, and represented GOD with your own worldly views. I am not judging the work itself, but the meaning behind it. you wrongfully judge, assuming all of the people in a church are as you describe. yes i do believe God wants us to do Christianly works in His name in order that his love may be spread and His name glorified, that i do not deny. But only God truly knows the hearts of those who claim to follow him, so i feel it improper for you to find yourself an equally proper judge. i do not mean to come across as rude or judgemental. please forgive me if i do make such an impression.

I go to a church that isn't like this which is rare...all the other churches I have been to are very much like this....they do need to shut their mouths and live right themselves before they act like they are God...great write
