The Lion Bowed

Confusion and angst in a world of known;
Shall she be a Sea-Goat or sit on a Throne?
How long must this war wage inside,
In hopes of freeing the one denied?

Buried within, hides the Crown Jewel;
The Fishtail will not allow a fool.
Cautious, guarded, loyal, sincere;
Protecting the Queen, it would appear.

Rarely, does Lioness greet the day;
Confounded with an inept portray.
The Feline did bow a regal mane;
Abandoning her royal right to reign.

Far too long Leo slept in the shade;
Fear acquiesced to Saturn’s masquerade.
Inadequacies veiled with slight of hand;
Capricorn’s empire now graces the land.

Strength portrayed, holds the Luster below;
Of Fairytale Princesses dreamt long ago.
