life sits
and plays its demented little games
taunting me one day at a time
breaking me down
making it harder to be a better person
sick, sundays
hiding in the past
whats wrong with the torture we call life
life is a countdown to death
full of complicated theories
each night brings hope
and fails to succeed at dawn
the clock strikes forever
and we're stuck in this hell we call life
turn around, dear, run
free is not a known word
as we sit trapped in our own lives
take my hand and steal me from this game
i dont belong here..
i lost too long ago.
Author notes
someone once said "Think of life as a human zoo. This zoo is the focus of your words and ideas. This should be the way life is, not how it feels. Hard…it can be…just let it go."
there ya have it.
i tried.
whatcha think?

Well done
You are becoming a master. I appreciate the too on the last line, rather then a to. could have done a two as well...made it quite interesting for the greymatter.
Ready for lesson 9, a shift from the norm?

Excellent
This is a long way from what you I used to read back in the days of softball and the like. Not very bright and cheery but, nevertheless, very well done. The zoo idea is pretty interesting and I think you've captured it very well here. Good job, Miss C.
