I remember all of those little moments
Each time everything went wrong
It brings back lots of memories
Everytime I hear that certain song
Smoke on the water
And fire in the sky
Remember when we listened to Hendrix
And just let time pass us by
I remember getting sentimental
Thinking of every time I ever cried
As I listened to him sing about
The day the music died
Stealing all of mom's old records
Letting the rock n roll be reborn
My soul was touched when Dylan sang
Of how he felt hopeless and forlorn
Janis always seemed to speak to me
And made me proud to be a girl
I've always had respect for Aretha
And Zepplin rocked my world
I remember exactly where I was in life
By every song I hear them play
I can remember the first time I ever heard it
And still love those songs today
All the lyrics that meant something to me
Are burned forever into my mind
Each time I hear the melodies
It takes me back in time
Each note is part of what I've become
And I know I'll never lose it
Because no matter how you feel in life
You can relate to and escape through music

Music is awesome, the poem makes more sense if you like old school rock and not like the new age rap lol oh yeah and ps the doors rock!!!!

Nice! I love the references to different songs and artists! I can relate-my mom's always looking for her CD's, and I always have them
