You Can Call Me Leach

He did not know the meaning of hard work.
While his fiancé worked at a menial job, he rarely cooked and cleaned the house.
She came home to a home with newspapers and trash scattered on the floor.
He feigned interest when she yelled at him for his lazy attitude.
After he had his college diploma he acted like he had nothing to prove.
He stayed at home watching his cartoons lackadaisically.
She threatened to kick him out once and for all.
He has heard that message so many times it went in one ear and out the other.
He has hit up numerous times for money and she forked it over without a complaint.
However when he asked for $200 for his poker blunder that was the end.
He moved back in with his mother and his attitude has remained consistent.
He is the guy that says, "You can call me leach."

Author notes

Option 1 "I READ THE RULES" This poem is a true account about sloth. Well some of the details are made up but this guy my friend went out with and dated through college was once ambitious but then after college he was completely sloth like.

Another one of your great writes. You should make these into Aesop's fables or something, they are great. Tell tell a nice little story and teach a good lesson. I think we all need to make sure we are nothing like this man. x Empathic x

I wish I had a dollar for all the people I know that fit this description. The Dungeons & Dragons gaming community is full to the brim with them. Thats why i stopped playing.
