A broken promise
No surprise
Nothing is what it seems
I've been here
Listen to me
All my life
I've done nothing but help
I'm done with you
Nothing gets through
I'm locked in a glass prison
With no way out
I need to find my way out
I'll give everything i have
I scream
I shout
Can you hear me?
My horizons fall before me
The glass prison that once held me is gone
This long lost fortress
I trod through broken fragments of what used to be me
I put them together
Is this the picture that i want to see?
Author notes
everything i had is gone

The broken fragments can be recycled into something wonderful and free.I once broke free and it was the best thing that evr happened. It takes a bit of adjustment and the ropes still burn for a while but it is so worth it.A well written poem that i could relate to, Ros
