The emptiness consumes her
It destroys her like a beast
It crushes her soul and kills her heart
It eats it for its feast
She feels all their eyes upon her
Their whispers burn her ears
Gone is any sense of honor
She went and threw away the years
She hangs her head down low
She won't look you in the eye
Completely filled with shame
But much too dead to cry
She wishes she could take it back
Wishes she hadn't listened
If only she could turn back time
She never would've kissed him
Now marked for the rest of her life
With a crimson letter A
His hand wasn't even slapped
But she'll really have to pay
They surround her angrily
Tie her good and tight
Bury her up to her neck
A sinner will die tonight
They cast their stones and scream
Each rock it stings her flesh
She'll pay for her betrayal
Until she takes her final breath
It only takes a few more minutes
A few more bloody wounds
Until she's no longer moving
Until they feel she's paid her due
She had to give her life
For the men to feel content
An example so their women fear
The cheaters punishment
Author notes
this is about a documentary I seen about a culture who stones the women to death when they cheat on their husbands. The men on the other hand are not punished at all. what freaking bullshit!!
Please tell me what you think

It is easy to see the injustices of life when they are so blatant and obvious. To me, the insidious ones are the injustices that are difficult to see, even when pointed out. Good start! Keep going.
