raging sea

storms raise that which is earth

founded

yet, unreached by those that wander from birth

~

there, i see you

and i, me too

tossed about by these winds

these ever raging seas

but this i see clear

i'm stronger than thee

 ~

'tis prides choice

to let go and let love

to be held

to be tended

by my strength from above

~

tell me

i hear

make it gently clear

how often a day

must my words in repeat

tell thy divine heart

and not second seat

~

don't let pride

an enemy

take from us destiny

i've fought many wars

years beyond thee

~

i boast not the lion

in faint disrepute

for from birth i was designed

to have this harsh destinies  astute

~

the lion reigns, yes

but of great, painful loss

for he bleeds in battle

sacrifices hearts loves

~

don't turn on a page

a day or a moment

hold farther than that

to the horizons content

~

where thy sweet head lays down

and all the warmth can surround

a heart that is loved

by sweet, purring sound

~

'tis a double life , i know

and hard to conceal

yet, remember, my love

it's histories reveal

~

but if not my arrow make it's right  mark

and you cannot clearly see

do not forget

i not forget thee.

~

Sometimes I need to read the words of those fellow members who have passed on. Poeticweaver (Tim) just wrote a poem insoired by one of yours. I am saddened as I write this, as I never really got to know you like I wish I had. YOUR poetry is beautiful. I hope you are reading our words from Heaven.

    Love ♥

You never realise how much someone matters until you can no longer speak to them, hold them or even fight with them and by God we had many fights !!!
Just wanted to say I am thinking of you today.... always on my mind, forever etched in my heart.
    Miss you loads

    Hi Timothy.

So Lynda has held a contest for you, as you already know I'm sure.. Peaking down through the skies no doubt reading those that cherish your sweet soul. I sure do miss ya around here, but I have this feeling, you're having alot more fun, and feeling stress free from the cares of this world. But, you know being human, I still miss ya. Love ya, and I hope you always knew that. I'm sure ya did, because I'm just the type to let ya know. LOL. Take care up there. Like I really needed to say that right... Much love from down below. Peace, your brother Timothy

Too much passing of family, friends and pets this last year and a half, and I thought of you and wanted to come read some of your poetry. This poem brought tears to my eyes, though that is not too hard to do these days. This is such a beautiful poem and I know that there are so many that have not forgotten you.

This is an amazing poem... I want to tell all those who know him and all those after me that I have been told that this man was great, this poem reminds me of all the love this world has, it also reminds me of my father, for he is a lion as well...

    Transending the fragile cosmic fabric...

This is beautiful Tim. One of your most regal, most gentle in rhythem. You are a masterfull poet of great skill. Emerson would have rejoyced after this.
Thoreau possibly would have smiled and thought about it. I my self whome can not hold a candle to their wisdom or poetic hearts, merely say I love this fragile peice of beauty you have penned. Thank you.
