the
magic
holiday
winter fun,
of Christmas,
has just begun.
children, presents
and Christmas cheer
mother and father and
grandma dear. turkey and
dressing; dinner fit for a king
paper angels tied up with string
family fun and Christmas past; all
these things make our memories last.
so merry Christmas to you and a happy
new year; may your loved ones be blessed
and those
you hold dear.

-
hey amera. i just wanted to tell you that i used this poem in my card! used it on the inside cover! it was really cute! i overlayed it on a picture of a christmas tree that had presents at the bottom..it was adorable..
if you would like a copy of the card i would love to send it to you..just message me with your address and i'll have it in the mail asap
thanks,
danielle -
hello again
This is absoultly wonderful, however I did notice this time reading it, you have no capitails after your periods, other than that this is still brilliant!

-
This has to be the best idea. It looks so attractive, the poem is good and it could suit family, friends, and all but very tiny children. Would be superb on the front of a card with the inside kept very simple. Very well done

-
hey...
this would make a REALLY good christmas card greeting!! maybe like the front cover and then something on the inside..what do you think??? i like it and very creative!! thanks for posting in my contest and best of luck at judging!
thanks,
danielle

-

Lovely Thank you very much for entering my little contest - I hope you had fun entering - I am having a blast judging this one

Exquisite ...
c'est absolument parfait. Totally perfect. You could make this into a Xmas card and send it out to everyone you know.
I did that once, with one of my Xmas poems. Afterward I found that none of them even noticed I wrote it, and none of them even kept the cards, which were rather expensive. However, that's neither here nor there. It just proved that my relatives are idiots. Needless to say, I quit sending Xmas cards to them after that.

this poem makes me happy!

I'm so glad you posted this in my contest!! I saw it somewhere in another contest but couldn't find it again and it has been bugging me. The style you used is awesome. Thanks again and all the best at judging. Cathy

How festive and creative! Christmas is for sharing and caring and I am happy you cared enough to share your holiday spirit with us! (Even if it is barely November, 07) Actually, the tree is my favorite part of the X-Mas holiday. The scent of a fresh cut evergreen is heaven to my olfactory senses and so sybolic of the season. I'm glad I took a peek!
-
This is such a wonderful holiday poem. How do you do this? I'm lucky to just get mine on the page at all. LOL
I wish you all the best in this contest. You really do have an awesome poem here, Cathy -

Well, I got bored, so I decided to read your very first poem on AP!

Okay, it's a little too early to be reading Christmas poems, but it really got me in the mood for holiday cheer!
(Urm... It's around 90 degrees and I haven't even gotten my Halloween candy yet...
Well, that just shot the mood.)

I always love reading your poems!!!!!
Always,
Cassie
