Long awaited reply

Well good morning.

Through tender vibrations I’ve heard your call. Yes it has been some time
since we’ve had a good old fashion visit. But I do understand, and should
let you in on a little secret of mine…

Though you might not find a moment to actually sit and talk, I’m able to hear
your thoughts even while walking. Not to mention, while you’re working,
shopping and standing in a traffic jam.

And yes I know…

Life is commanding. It’s time consuming and can get in the way.
But it’s moments like these that add the clarity to those darkened rooms,
frayed nerves and downward spiralling emotions.

Please do me a favor?

Remember to pause every now and then and take a backward glance.
You’ll see the path your footprints left behind, of all those places
and situations that you found yourself in, as well as how far you’ve
progressed along the way.

Your choices are your own. I set it up that way.
I term it: “Self Perseverance and Empowerment.”

You’ve made good use of those tendencies. Please continue.

And tomorrow?

Well, open the door. Don’t be afraid. Something new will be waiting across
the thresholds. Embrace each day with gusto and a song in your heart.
Hope is a wonderful ally-- keep it close at hand.

And also remember, I am always here to listen…send me a whisper.

Sent with love,
Your Heavenly Father

    Beautifully done!

Truly taylored well and specifically worked as a response with the original poem penned as a letter also. I found the content possessed enough pure wisdom too make the source fully believable. Very well done poet! Good Luck@!****

    I am esteemed...

That you would find inspiration from my letter to God is overwhelming for me at this time. You made me reflect on that letter and where I was when I wrote it. The irony is, this letter that you have now scribed is a reflection of where I am in my "I think I'm so busy" world. You have allowed readers to identify with what is needed when we get too busy to spend that extra moment it takes to simply "whisper"; I need you to listen Lord.

You have written a work far more detailed, and inspiring than the one you used for inspiration. I am humbled, and blessed to have experienced your consciousness in this writ.

The best to you in this challenge dear sister.

    Much Love ♥

    Renee

    Marvelous

What a wonderful reminder that we are never alone. I love the gentleness this piece inspires. It flows so quietly, just like a whisper. great job.

sandi, it's always such a pleasure to "listen" to your inner poetry and limitless optimism. i guess it is in line with the "time of the season" yet it is mainly in line with... you . beautiful poetry

Sandi I can not profess to be religious . Though this does not stop me from enjoying well written work in praise of it. This is wonderful use of words. The spacing of each paragraph gives the feeling of an ongoing conversation between two people. That I like.
Excellent Good luck in this contest

    ooh this was wonderful
I had no idea at first this was a contest poem,
I thought hmm sounds like a Mother writing to her child,
Then the other thought God, It was the later that was right, some wonderful penning and thoughts sent with love from the heavenly Father. or perhaps I am wrong
and it is as mentioned below our inner voice, thats the wonderful thing about a great poem what it means to others
Love and Light and A very Merry Christmas to you.
    Love and Light

    Never alone

Dear Sandi, this is a beautiful reflection, and encouraging as well. Your diction is clear and calm, and the subscript is a wonderful surprise.
    Happy Christmas, sweet lady!
