Why Should I Care?

http://allpoetry.com/images/ext/Contest/2335/23.jpg?1166857170

why should i care?
it doesn't bother me.
the world may carry on,
but it moves too fast for my liking.
I'm happy with my slow journey
just like the floating bubbles and feathers,
where I can daydream in peace
and reside in my own little world.
why should I care about anything?
it doesn't bother me.

Ahhh, how sweet it would be if it were possible to truly not care, dangerous yes, but blissful most definately. i figure that the world will always move too quickly towards doom and not nearly fast enough towards the liferaft, so the question is, how fast will you move?
Well done with this piece, i like it.
No disrespect to your older work, but you seem to have improved greately since you posted your first half douzen poems as the content and depth of your most recent works is far far superior. Great to see that sort of progress and talent.
thanks for the read, One Angry Monkey

Very nice work you have done crystal!!
I love reading your work and I get a message sent to me everytime I read your work!
    This part grabs me.
    the world may carry on,
but it moves too fast for my liking.
The world does move to fast for me, there is so much I want to do before I die. I often wonder if I will ever make it to all the things I want, before my ending of time.

hey!! nice to see u! ^_^ It's liek the same for me.. but there's just something in me, the negative energy, that slows me down and lets the world pass by right before my eyes.. and i really hate that. it's like everyone constantly tell me to get a move on with pending things, and yet, even they dont end up motivating me.. gosh, i'd like to really kick my heart one day..
      lol
thanks so much for your kind comments! just dont be like me, and you'll get millions of things done!
      bless ya!

why the capital I's used here when everywhere else in the poem you are using lowercase? i think it would look better either using lowercase i here or changing the rest of the poem to use capitals where needed? other than that, it is a good poem on the image, i just had a quick peek before i read the poem spill ink and twist me into the crazy shape of love...

      oh, hey! thanks!!
i did leave it as lowercase first, but then i thought more and realized that when a person procrastinates so much, one is only focussed on oneself and doesn't care about the others.. cuz if the person really cared, then he/she would try doing atleast SOMETHING out of motivation, but how would you expect sloth to care? ...and hence the capital I.
hope that helps. thanks for taking notice of that.
really appreciate your comments! thanks so much for the applause too!!
      bless ya!
