Green

I listen to the music,
it all makes sense to me now,
the songs wrap my mind up,
and play with my feet.

I tap out a rhythm,
carelessly not realising,
the beat envelopes the walls,
as I sink through my seat.

I drum with my fingers,
and close my eyes to see it,
the green flashes of each note,
yet the song's not complete.

I feel my own heartbeat,
as it matches the chords,
I open my eyes to nothing but green,
and float as the music repeats.
