In A Daughters Eyes

As angels speak through silence
they slowly sing their songs
all feelings shown through codes of love
and words said face to face.....

To have two mothers a child is blessed
one being real and the other one graced
loving them both in such different ways
one across seas while the other seen every day
every day here I am swathed with loving arms
from my real mother of beauty, intelligence and charm
while the other my mother from across the seas
can look at my pictures and just vision me.

They both I admire so whole heartedly
I am only thirteen yet they both understand me
inspiration is found in both of their souls
yes me with two mothers through songs and poems
my mother Sea Angel speaks to me through her words
ecouraging and loving I feel so deserved
I am blessed through this site to have been bound to me
with pixiu's written I'm inspired by her true glee
her poetry speaks to me so spiritually sure
through palms upon cheeks our love codes are pure.

My real mother at home she is really my step
yet she has raised me with love replacing what I didnt get
and as I strum my guitar and the keybord she plays
we become our own band as our songs softly play
a stepmother for sure as there is no other
she is the one yes in my life my real mother
she took on this role when I was a young girl
and has raised me well to become someone in this world.

So you see why I speak of the luck in my life
God sent me two mothers--the Sea and my fathers wife
It's not every day that a young girl like me
can feel love and beauty of these two gifts bestowed to thee
In a daughters eyes so clearly seen
I count my blessing of two mothers for me
so I speak from my heart and in two different ways
I will promise to cherish them both for all of my days.

You are such a beautiful, loving soul that any mother is blessed to be cherished in your angelic heart. A daughter any mom would be proud to have. I rejoice to see how much you have in common with your step-mom. Truly, she sounds heaven sent to both you and your dad. God Bless You and All those dear to you A LOT and always for you "are" a blessing. Amen and Amen

    Beautiful

Well I must say that this is a little to long for the contest.
However, I must admit this is soooooooo sweet

Writing about loving two mothers... Interesting. One mother can provide the world so I can just imagine what two can do.

Thank you so much for sharing this great poem with us and making it an entry in my very first contest.

    Good luck to you.

I too have two mothers, alas both are gone from this earthly palce now but I understand you love and grace in respect to both of them. What wisdom speaks from someone so young, to understand about such things and then to pen this truly beautiful deidication. It sums up the contest perfectly. Heartfelt. Hugs to you.

    Very Nice

It is great that you feel so blessed by your mothers. I am sure that SEA will feel honored. I lived with an aunt for a while and she was like a mother in many ways. She helped me to succeed in high school.
