Oh dear mother of mine,
How I miss you so.
The flow of your hair
vanilla scent, so fair.
The Lord giveth,
Yet he taketh away.
He took you from me,
and our family.
I miss you mother,
your laugh, your tears.
I hope to see you again,
One day, in Heaven.

this is Dedicated to my mother, Julieann. She died three days less of a month after my ninth birthday. I am now 16, and still can hardly deal with it.

I'm really sorry for your loss. Loosing a parent at such a young age must be very hard. But i'm glad to see you have positive memories of your mother, they are definately something worth holding on to. thanks for the poem, nicely written, and good luck
