Connections

Lunar waxing, full and waning, each aspect is my own
Goddess incarnate in each form, maiden, mother, crone.

Matter is Energy, Earth is Spirit, Each part of God, all connected, one.
We are Earth, We are Spirit, from the Divine Circle, Creation was begun.

Forward motion, momentum, instinct, elation, will to survive.
Calibrated in the human condition, the motivation to strive.

Each element has its polarity, balance inherent twixt day and night.
Majesty of the Universe coded on double helix, revealed by light.

Provided by the Solar heat that brings the synthesis of life.
Forward motion, growth, expansion, triumph over strife.

By the power of three times three, as you cast your will and intent, it shall be cast on thee.
Of symbiotic nature, a Universal Law, to every action is a reaction to the power of three.

The most perfect numeral, the balanced aspects of life, the basis of our creed.
Time, space, matter; liquid, solid, gas; body, mind, spirit; thought, word, deed.

Three rays of power, female, balance, male, O, AH, E.
Balance between polarities, ying and yang together, infinitely.

Moving in concert, syncopation, interwoven warp and waft, synchronicity.
All things are connected, one, no beginning no end, symbiotic, unto infinity.

More than the sum of parts, all depending on the other to be what they are.
North, South, East, West; Gravity; Elemental Balance, Earth, Air, Fire, Water.

Author notes

NOTE:Background made from a pattern with all 10 symbols.

I felt that all of these symbols were interrelated
and that I am not represented by any one of them but
rather all of them. Listed here in the order of appearance.
Each stanza deals with the symbol pictured beside it.

1) Triple Spiral (3 aspects of the moon and three aspects of the Goddess)

2) Celtic Cross (showing a bridge between spiritual and physical world, and the all inclusive nature of the Divine)

3) Triskelion (progress, competition, forward motion)

4) Double Spiral (equinox, balance, fabric of life (dna))

5) Clockwise spiral (the sun, growth, energy)

6) Druidic Threefold Sister Goddess (maiden, mother, crone)
7)Triquetra (The power of three, the holy trinity)
8) Awen Symbol (three rays) ( one ray for male one for female and one for balance)
9) Circle (Universal connection, Divinity in the circle of life)
10) Wheel of Being (represents the four elements and a fifth being balance.)

Wow I did not any poem to go this in depth, with pictures AND poetic explainations. Thank you for taking my contest one step further and teaching me about the connections of 10 symbols within your soul. I really appreciate you listing and quickly describing each in your authors box; thank you! Thank you so much for entering my contest and sharing your words.

    a mutual connection onto

"I am each", we are thee, ying and yang interconnected from birth, symbiotic unto one another equating to far more than the sum of the we. Interwoven synchronicity
for the double helix is indeed.....double, yet one. The perfect man to be might well be she, or we. Twinned souls, polarities thus attracting a cheshire smile of recognition.
Hey Diana, this was a great write and the background magnificent! Hmmmmmmmm..... feel like spiralling out of control??
