Geisha

See how beautiful she is?
Her head held high
So sure of her womanhood
As well as her sexuality
With her carefully painted face
Designed to seduce the mind
Serving a purpose of hiding her emotions
Body covered in lush fabrics and jewels
Of blues, pinks, golds, reds, purples, and oranges
The way the light hits her when she dances
The elegant way she moves
Dances across the room in time to the music
The sounds of cheers and applause fills the room
Of laughter and seduction of the cool night air
She leaves the fog of mystery
Makes you want to know her secrets that can't be told
The secrets of this beautiful geisha will only be held in her eyes
Locked in forever
As the coldness rules her heart

Very good poem. I've seen the movie of Memories of Geisha. It is well written movie. But that was part of it how geisha happen in Japan a long time ago.

Did you mean "Memoirs of a Geisha"?

I actually liked your poem - alot. But the horrible spelling mistakes make me want to cry. Line 8: either "body covered in" or "body cover of," what you wrote makes no sense. Line 9: gold is not owning anything, therefore don't put a apostrophe there. Line 13: "applauds" is a verb, and that's not what you mean, use "applause:" since cheers and applause can't "feel" a room, I assume you mean "fill."

Sorry if I offended you by my comments, as I said, this was a good poem. It would have been much better if you had just read through it a couple times and made sure not just to rely on a computer dictionary.
