abridged

Brilliant shards of light fall down on me
unerring
cut into my skin like prophets waging war
on science          the arrows burn//churn//yearn
my heart (uncomprehending) because i'm slow to think / run / learn
but
not to cry to wish a hundred times on the same star though
    i used them up      catch
                            one for
me before it
                falls[autumn dead)
nothing special just
this broken crumbled piece of burn[t]ing rock  . you missed
it. stop saying sorry wielding five bullet/letters
there's no such thing magic ((words and potions)) rabbit's feet this
feat too brave for even me            i
have no sword
the dragon coming down firebreath halo    sorry--i'm
human -- trying to take it back i swear
someone snipped the wire on the time machine i'm
                                      sorry
it was unintentional just
let me hard kiss your lips until this (hardhearthardly) ache is
                  forgotten in the
                  deep dark

No comments? wow. okay then where do I start???

This was beat poetry at its best. I read it out loud and felt like I was almost rapping and the words just rolled off my tongue. I LOVED the alliteration and the flow was right on. The whole write was just full of passion made me want to yell out AMEN in the end. LOL. A worthy read thank you for entering.
